    Taekwondo
    A sport for everyone

    Taekwondo is a Korean martial art with roots dating back roughly 2,000 years. Since becoming a full Olympic sport in 1988, Taekwondo has become more visible, but the sport is far broader than many people realize.

    Belt System

    In traditional Taekwondo, belt levels have set criteria (including training volume) that increase in difficulty with each level. A new belt is awarded after a passed grading.
